Condition:
To start,
it's a 10 year old commercial van.
It has been,
since new, our second vehicle so we've always
treated it as such.
Scheduled routine maintenace was
always performed in a timely manner as well as
routine oil changes.
The tires have less than 6000
miles put on them since purchased new from Discount
Tire in Woodstock.
I installed a plywood bed in the
cargo area when we purchased the van so the floor is
in great condition.
When new, we also had the
contractor's interior installed which includes inner
walls and ceiling along with E-channels on both sides.
The added benefit of the interior walls is there are no
bulging dings on the outside of the van from merchandise
shifting inside and hitting the walls. We'll even
through in several E-channel ratchet straps and a couple
of E-channel rings to use with bungees.
This cargo kit also comes
with a bulkhead that protects the front seats from
the cargo area. There is an access door in this
bulkhead. There are some parts on the doorknob of
that access door that have broken over the years.
The door still works as expected but you do have to
hold it together as you use it.
Running
boards were installed to ease entry and exit from the
doors.
We also had a back-up camera installed when
new but it no longer works - I suspect it may be
something as simple as a fuse but just assume it
doesn't work.
The cd-player recently stopped
working. The AM-FM radio works fine and it does have
an auxilary jack for plugging in your phone or mp3
player.
A couple of cosmetic issues, as seen in the
pictures, include a small separation in the seam of
the driver's side seat, and the top of the locking
mechanism on the side cargo door is broken off.
Again, the lock still works as expected.
Please
note that the tire pressure light is illuminated in the
dashboard picture. The inflation of all tires has been
checked and the light should go out after driving 20
miles or so.
